East Kilbride Credit Union Ltd is an ethical financial co-operative owned and run by its members who save together and have access to affordable credit. We have been providing first class financial services for over 30 years. The credit union is run by members for members and over 10,000 residents have already made use of our services. We also have a thriving junior membership, with almost 600 youngsters making excellent use of our savings facilities. The credit union is controlled by a Board of Directors elected from the membership and is run on a day-to-day basis by the manager and a dedicated and talented team of staff and volunteers. Like the banks, we are also authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. and are part of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme that guarantees up to £75,000 of individual saving in the event that the credit union is unable to meet its financial obligations.
