The Deepdene Trail

The Deepdene Trail: Hope Springs Eternal is a project to reconnect the lost remnants of the once famed Deepdene Estate centred around the Hope Mausoleum. The project is supported by a £1 million Heritage Lottery fund to restore the Mausoleum, the Deepdene Gardens, access around Betchworth Castle and link up the remaining parcels of land with the Trail. The fund also supports a range of events and activities to engage the local community throughout 2016 and 2017.
