Bespoke Baby Gifts was first established in 2002 from a dining room table! Having returned from travelling I wanted to turn my love for all things creative into a business. I teamed up with my mum Sarah who already ran her own successful business and we began to personalise baby blankets! At first we bought in blankets from wholesalers and tested the market at local craft fairs. Before long we were introducing our own designs and expanding our product range. A turning point for us was when we became established at Greenwich Art and Crafts Market in London. The embroidery machine was set up on the stall and we would personalise orders on the spot. The customers enjoyed watching the names being embroidered and we were able to meet some of the babies too! The same customers returned to us again and again and so in 2003 we launched the Bespoke Baby Gifts website. In 2009 my daughter Rosie was born, followed by her sister Emily in 2012. They became models in our product shoots, inspired new designs and had enviable collections of personalised blankets, bathrobes, teddies and so on! Some of the people who saw us at Greenwich approached us to supply their independent shops and websites and this area of the business has continued to grow ever since. Our entire range is now designed in house and we are proud of the reputation we have built for unique, high quality gifts and a fast and friendly service. We love that our personalised gifts have been sent to babies all over the world...
