Today Yearsley have 13 sites nationally from Glasgow to Gillingham with a total capacity of 335,000. The fleet of over 300 vehicles deliver nationwide, with the option for customers to now use Yearsleys freight forwarding division for import and export to the rest of the world. The company currently employs 1,200 people across the country, with this number due to increase alongside the development of the current sites and depots. An industry recognised organisation, Yearsley Group continues to show support to the British Frozen Food Federation, the Food Storage and Distribution Federation and Road Haulage Association. The future of the company focuses on a sustainable business model that is agile and can accommodate to the changing customer needs within the industry. With the creation of 2 new ‘Super Hub’s’ in the short term, Yearsley's will be able to offer customers a consolidated approach for a more efficient delivery into the UK’s major retailers and food organisations. This will not only help lower food miles, but reduce their environmental impact which is crucial in achieving their goal of an 80% reduction in their carbon footprint by 2020.
