It is clear today that people need to be better informed about the risks and possible complications of cosmetic surgery. To help address this issue, a group of cosmetic surgeons have joined forces to create Liberate, the UK's largest network of specialist cosmetic surgeons who are all members of BAAPS and/or BAPRAS. With over 60 locations across the UK, these experienced cosmetic surgeons aim to give patients access to balanced advice without the use of salespeople or a hard sell. All Liberate surgeons: - Are UK specialist accredited plastic & cosmetic surgeons. - Are members of the GMC (General Medical Council) and have undertaken a minimum of 18 years education and training. - Have completed 15 years of surgical training after the completion of medical school. - Have been awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Plast). - Are members of BAAPS and/or BAPRAS
