Hillside is a charming 18th century thatched country house overlooking the Victorian town of Ventnor and backing onto National Trust land at the foot of St. Boniface Down. Hillside is home to extensive woodlands with an ever-growing wildlife population. The flourishing vegetable garden provides the finest fresh produce for the kitchen and Hillside also creates a wide variety of homemade treats for our guests, such as; daily bread, muesli, jam, marmalade, honey, spices, chutney, biscuits, and even a house ale. Hillside provides the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Wight, from historic houses and Roman remains to stunning coastal walks and beaches… There is something for everyone to enjoy.
