Born in 2014 Polish Tech Link has become by now the most important new technologies community within the Polish diaspora in the UK. We have so far organized over 18 events gathering up to 180 people from all corners of the creative and technology ecosystem in London: developers, entrepreneurs, managers of technology companies, designers, investors and academics, freelancers and students. Encouraged by this success we have decided to expand beyond London and to mark the new beginning we have changed our name to PLUG. We aim to connect, inspire, and empower leaders of Poland’s technology and creative industries worldwide. Our first step is Wrocław, but we plan to make next ones very soon! Our ambition is to become more than just meetups. We want to be both a leading think tank as a global expansion launchpad for the entire Polish technology and creative industries ecosystem. PLUG vision: is to become a global extension of the Polish innovations ecosystem. PLUG mission is to connect, inspire and empower leaders of Polish technology and creative industries worldwide to release the global potential of Polish new economy sector.
