Our industrial enzymes, microorganisms, biopolymers and other proteins allow our customers to achieve more efficient use of raw materials, reduce energy consumption, replace traditional chemicals with more sustainable alternatives and offer higher-quality products. In 2012, the worldwide application of our products helped our customers reduce their CO2 emissions by an estimated 48 million tons. It is our ambition to enable a 75 million ton reduction in CO2 emissions in 2015.
