Playsport Golf is one of the UK's biggest and best golf practice, play and tuition facilities and is the cornerstone of the massive multi-activity Playsport complex in East Kilbride. The doors opened to the public on 1st August 2009 and we hit the ground running with over 3,500 rounds played on our Heritage Links course in the fist eight weeks. We were lucky enough to have Ryder Cup Captian Colin Montgomerie and PGA Chief Executive Sandy Jones on hand to officially open the golf facilities a few weeks later and both were highly impressed. Our 56-bay two-tier range is the ideal location for you work on your game all year round and the outfield targets with distances measured from each individual bay and central island green modelled on the famous 17th TPC Sawgrass green will add to your practice sessions. On the course we have created a challenging and enjoyable golfing experience with each of the holes being inspired in their design by some of the UK’s finest Open Championship courses – the result is a stiff but fair test of your game over a 2,307 yard par 32 layout, with 51 bunkers and some fantastic links features. Added to this is our state of the art PGA Coaching Centre with full GASP computerised swing analysis systems and a highly qualified and experienced PGA Coaching Team on hand to deliver programmes to golfers of all levels from complete beginner to low handicapper and beyond.
