Barras Art and Design is a restaurant, bar and event space in the heart of the historical Barras Market. This unique venue is the perfect place for number of differing events including large dinners, music gigs, art exhibitions, markets or as simply a place to relax under the beautiful atrium in our courtyard. The restaurant at BAaD A’Challtainn, Winner of The List Magazine 'Best Newcomer' Award 2017, is the ideal tropical oasis to celebrate the bountiful offering from Scottish seas. The chefs at A’Challtainn create unforgettable dishes with innovative use of colour and the freshest ingredients. As well as being the perfect place for dining at any time of the day, a number of our spaces are available to hire, from intimate dinners, to large celebrations, weddings, BBQs and everything in-between.
