Heeley People’s Park belongs to the community – paid for and owned by the people and businesses that love it. The more we give, the more we all get – new play equipment, new space, more trees, more events. You might have walked through Taggy’s Field, met at the Birdnest, taken the kids to the playground. Whatever that park means to you, your help will mean everything to us, and makes the difference between us keeping it, improving it and losing it forever. Helping is as easy as this… just visit our website www.heeleypeoplespark.org and click on ‘join in’ to give the gift of your choice. Just 20p each week from each household in the area would cover all our costs, and everything above that can help us bring our brilliant park improvement plans to life. But whatever you give goes straight in the pot and right into the park. The other way you can help is by spreading the word...tell your friends and neighbours, use social media to pass it on, and if you have any brilliant fundraising ideas, we would love to hear them!
