Waterfront Nursery opened in a new purpose built facility in Granton, Edinburgh in 2006. Our modern facility caters for a wide age range of children ranging from 3 months to 5 years. The nursery comprises of; 2 baby rooms, tweenie & toddler room, Ante-Pre and Pre-school rooms, as well as a safe outdoor play area and additional activity areas. Opening from 8am to 6pm for 50 weeks of the year, we provide maximum accessibility and flexibility for parents. Our highly-trained staff have a wealth of experience in child care - several of our staff have over 10 years experience in working with children. Regular team meetings and in-house training encourage staff to feel proud of the important role they play in your child’s development. Learning is at the heart of what we do at Waterfront Nursery. Through our child-centred approach, we have developed a curriculum for the under threes, based on the ‘birth to three’ framework. For children aged three to five, we follow the Scottish Executive’s ‘Curriculum for Excellence’. We can also provide places for children with additional support needs
