Rising from the ashes of the Spicy Mint Restaurant in Rusholme, Spicy Mint Takeaway is born, located opposite the Showcase Cinema at Belle Vue, Gorton, Manchester. Sadly the owner of the former Spicy Mint Restaurant, Shabir decided to call it a day due to ill health after 20 proud and triumphant years serving the regular customers of Manchester's Curry Mile. Upon closing the restaurant Shabir very graciously allowed his former team to continue the name and indeed helped develop it's new format, so the Spicy Mint torch could burn on! Moji and the remaining team decided to leap at the chance to create this new venture as it would simply be a travesty to let their collective years and skills in the food industry go to waste, meanwhile hoping to quench the appetite of the customers they have known for so many years in the process. Driven by their passion to produce quality, affordable Indian and Pakistani food to the masses they were itching with excitement to get this new venture off the ground as quick as practically possible. The new format allows them to demonstrate their exceptional Indian and Pakistani flair, whilst also allowing them to add traditional Kebabs and Pizzas to their luscious menu.
