The school is surrounded by large playing fields. The main building allows for security of class bases, yet affords the space to have special areas for Art and Craft, Design and Technology, Science, Music, Drama, an extensive Exhibition Area and a large Library, ICT Suite and many Resource Areas. There is a good sized hall which is used for Dining, Assembly, P.E., Games, Dance, Drama, various club activities and Discos. Alongside the main school is the Nursery and Reception Class (Early Years Foundation Stage) Building. Nursery offers part-time education to children of three years or more.
