This center is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT~IKBU), an association of over 1000 meditation centres worldwide dedicated to helping people find peace and happiness through learning to meditate and think positively. The NKT is a Mahayana Buddhist tradition founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso that is derived from Buddha Shakyamuni, Atisha and Je Tsongkhapa.
