Young HArts offer classes in Drama and Musical Theatre for young people with a passion for singing, acting and/or dancing. Our vision is that these classes will be inclusive for all young people who have a love of singing, acting or dancing regardless of their ability. We want young people to feel welcome and supported with their talents and we will encourage them to have fun and take risks in a supportive environment. We will also aim to build their confidence and self esteem and develop their communication and performance skills. Lead teacher Kimberley Brown has over fourteen years experience of delivering Drama and Musical Theatre in primary and secondary schools in Hull and the surrounding areas. She has a BA Honors Degree in Performing Arts and has been a qualified teacher for the last ten years. She has held the role of Team Leader in a successful Drama Department in a local secondary school, teaching GCSE and BTEC qualifications up to level 3.
