Founded in 1982, Koco Community Resource Centre is a registered charity working to improve the lives of individuals in our local community and surrounding areas. We currently work with a wide range of community groups which address issues including social isolation, disability, mental ill health and homelessness. Community members from diverse backgrounds also use our facility for leisure activities (i.e. yoga, art and archery), education (i.e. Arts Award and computer classes) and to practice their faith. Our provision of an adaptable and affordable space together with support and advice for community groups is underpinned by the objectives highlighted in our memorandum of association, "the advancement of education, furtherance of good health and relief of sickness and distress".
