Elsie's serves a light brunch as well as lunch serving deep filled sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes, homemade soup on chilly days, salads on scorching days, and afternoon teas, cakes and scones every day !! We serve fantastically smooth, ethically sourced coffee as well as Teapigs tea temples and good old fashioned loose leaf English Breakfast tea. We also cater for our little ones too providing high chairs and menu. We kindly request that only food and drink purchased in the tearoom may be consumed here as we are only small. We also provide a takeout service for food and hot and cold drinks, so if you are out walking, or just on your lunch break then please pop in. We do not take bookings so please come along and we will get you seated as soon as we possibly can if we are busy. Due to our Hampshire Fire Risk assessment, we are unable to allow pushchairs in the tearoom as we need to keep our walkway free from obstruction in case of emergencies or evacuation. However we can allow car chairs in the tearoom as long as you can tuck them under or on top of your table. Last orders for kitchen: 3.00pm Our usual opening hours are Monday to Saturday. We are closed on Sundays but are available for private hire. We also close on Bank Holidays and over the Christmas period for our own family time. Any other closures are published on our Facebook page, so if you are coming out for a special journey, then just give us a ring to check.
