The Loop Project

The Loop Project is a creative response to a perceived need for change – both from an environmental and social perspective. Our mission is to be a part of the change that is required to move societies’ values away from individualistic consumption and towards collective resilience – respecting the world and our place within it. A Transitional Business Change is essential due to the challenges posed by three interrelated issues – environment, energy and economy. The Loop Project was set up as a ‘transitional business’ through which we aim to use the skills we currently have in more effective ways whilst learning new skills in order to be able to cope with the challenges that lie ahead. As such the Loop Project is a constantly evolving business. Our ‘transitional business’ model means we offer a somewhat unconventional, diverse collection of services as we learn new skills and go through our transition. Our current main areas of work range from baking bread, making pottery through to graphic design and research. It's an odd mix of goings on at The Loop.
