The Meadowgreen Foundation is an independent Christian charity which was founded in 1988. It is governed by 5 trustees who live within the local area. The foundation built The Meadowgreen Centre to serve the local communities of Muirhead, Meadowgreen and Barassie. Our Services Preschool. Preschool sessions are available for 3-5 year olds Mon - Fri during term time. These sessions have recently been increased to 3hours 10 minutes. Preschool sessions run from 9.15am - 12.25pm. Or send her an email at preschool@meadowgreen.org.uk Afterschool Care/Club Our afterschool care runs Mon - Thurs during term time. We offer a walking bus service from Struthers primary school. The session runs from 3pm - 5.30pm. Each session costs £6 which includes a healthy snack for each child. Pre booking is essential. If you would like to bring your child along to the club this runs from 3.30pm - 5pm and is £2.50. No booking is required for the club. Toddlers Our toddler group meets at the centre on a Thursday afternoon from 1.30pm - 2.45pm. Our toddler group is run by one of our trustees Margaret Wallace and a local volunteer Maggie Gentleman. This group costs £2 which includes a snack and drink for the children and a hot drink and treat for the adults! No registration is required, just pop along, everyone welcome!
