Oaklands Nursery is one of only two maintained nursery schools in Staffordshire providing education and care for children aged 2 – 4years. As a nursery school we offer children an amazing start to their education laying strong foundations for their future. They learn through exciting and innovative experiences in an outstanding indoor and outdoor environment. We place a strong emphasis on developing creativity, exploration, investigation and critical thinking. We excel in developing children’s language, independence, confidence and self esteem, all of which gives children a firm base from which they gain all the skills they need for school readiness. Learning experiences are planned and developed based on children’s interests and on their individual ‘next steps’ to challenge and move their learning forward.
