"The Factory Playhouse Hitchin will open its doors on Friday 1st May 2015. A 184 seater theatre on the 1st floor of an old, disused 12,000 sq ft factory in Hitchin, It promises to thrill all theatre lovers! This space will be one of the most exciting and innovative places to see theatre in Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. Our first show will use an electronic automated revolve with the production of West Side Story being set in the round. Be part of this exciting and intimate experience with an incredible young cast. There will only be a limited number of tickets available for our first season." Emil Dale The first show at the Factory Playhouse Theatre will be West Side Story. To celebrate the grand opening we will be releasing only 100 tickets to the public for PRESS NIGHT on Friday 1st May 2015. All ticket holders for press night will be invited to an intimate gathering at the end of the evening in our Factory Bar. All ticket money will go towards our fundraising for the theatre build which is costing around £30,000. We make absolutely no profit from any of our productions.
