Shani Lawrence has been designing gardens since 1997. She designs domestic, commercial, school and community gardens. Shani studied for her BSc Hon.Environmental Science and worked for environmental consultancies before studying Garden Design at Merrist Wood College. Shani has a love of drawing and gardening. Shani worked for Woodcote Green Garden Centre where she gained a large knowledge of plants. She went on to design two show gardens for them in 2000 and 2001 at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. The “Princess and the Frog” garden was awarded a Gold Medal and 'Best Small Garden in Show'. Dan Jackson joined the practise assisting in the design process and creating bespoke timber pieces. Shani along with 'Made for Garden's created Nurture in Nature' at the RHS Flower Show Cardiff 2015 and were awarded Silver Gilt. Shani likes to design gardens that are beneficial to wildlife, sustainably created or educational. She now lives in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
