The Grange Estate Alresford The Grange Estate is a landed and sporting estate of over three thousand acres in central Hampshire, located east of Winchester in the beautiful Upper Itchen and Candover valleys. In addition to agricultural and amenity land, the Estate comprises a number of buildings with a range of different uses, including holiday accommodation and residential and commercial premises. It also hosts an attractive campsite, Abbotstone Wood Camping, well placed for the local network of footpaths and bridleways. Home to an Annual Opera Festival The historic core of the Estate is Grange Park, a 600 acre landscaped park which contains The Grange, an important Grade I listed neo-classical country house in the guardianship of English Heritage. The house is no longer occupied but is home to an annual summer opera festival in a 550 seat theatre created within the old orangery. Weddings and Special Events One of Hampshire’s finest wedding and events venues, located 15 minutes east of Winchester and 60 minutes south of London, is set in an idyllic and historical setting on the banks of the Candover Brook. At the historic core of the Estate is Grange Park, a 600 acre landscaped park and “The Grange”, an important Grade I listed neo-classical country house.
