Scramble up the nets to re-live the adventures of the daring explorers who journeyed in search of rare plants and seeds. From your lookout, can you spot the rare ‘Rhododendron Falconeri’, grown from a seed from the Himalayas? The whole family can enjoy build dens together and discovering secret pathways through the gardens and woodland. Climb to the little Everest viewpoint and take in the incredible views of the Weald of Kent. Lose yourself in our Himalayan Maze and perhaps even spot our elsuive yeti! The gardens have an enchanting natural beauty and contain many rare and interesting species of trees and shrubs, many brought back by John Rogers, an explorer and contemoprary of Charles Darwin, from the Himalayas in the 19th century. The garden will appeal to both keen gardeners and those who just enjoy beautiful gardens. Today four generations of the Rogers family live at Riverhill. They have created a much loved, historic garden for theirs and other families to enjoy and to create lasting memories.
