The syllabus for the school is very wide and our aim is to encourage and develop a childs interest in drama, dance, singing, theatre and all aspects of the Performing Arts. The training given is designed to provide an opportunity for natural and creative expression and to nurture a childs true potential. The school has an exceptionally high record of exam successes in both drama and dance. Students have the opportunity to participate in school productions, competitions and courses, as well as auditioning and performing for a variety of professional and amateur shows, commercials, television work, films and plays. Pupils study for examinations in Drama for acting and speech, up to Grade 8 (previous gold medal) set by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Pupils study for examinations in Dance for Ballet, Modern and Tap up to Advanced 1 standard, set by The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD). Street Jazz, Singing and Melody Bear are a non examination classes.
