The Duke of York is a beautiful Seventeenth Century family run guest house situated in the heart of the Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Catering for up to 20 guests within 9 newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms, the Duke of York offers a relaxed and comfortable "home from home" atmosphere. Our 6 front bedrooms, two of which offer spacious balconies, all boast stunning panoramic sea views across the quaint harbour and beautiful South Bay seafront. All bedrooms offer full en-suite facilities, with either a bath or shower, colour TVs and tea and coffee making facilities as well as hairdryers and mini fridges. All rooms have been newly refurbished in 2010/11 and all, now offer brand new flat screen TV's with built in HD free view channels. Our spacious dining room offers full bay and harbour views, so you can enjoy your quality freshly prepared full English breakfasts whilst watching the fishing boats sail by. Our hearty breakfasts include a starter of a choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and fruit juices, followed by a delicious home cooked full English breakfast consisting of thick back bacon, free range eggs, sausage, tomato, mushrooms and baked beans, all served with tea or coffee and toast. Any special diets or special requests can also be catered for with advanced notice. We understand breakfast is the most important meal of the day and so make it our aim to fill you up until lunch! We are able to offer car parking facilities for up to 6 cars on our private car park...
