Our incredible story begins in the early 20th century, with our founding by master mason Henry Rotherham. The company was later handed down to Joseph Rotherham senior, who inherited his father’s unquestionable skills and ability. Joseph Rotherham senior learnt the traditional crafts of stone masonry until he went to serve with the Eighth Army Anti-Aircraft division in the Second World War.
