The Wharf House is an award-winning, waterside restaurant and tea rooms and luxury accommodation, located in Over, Gloucester. The Wharf House is proud to be an AA Rosette Restaurant, an accolade awarded to establishments which 'achieve standards that stand out in their local area. They serve food prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good quality ingredients'. The Wharf's House's luxurious accommodation opened in late 2010, and was soon awarded four prestigious AA stars. New for 2013, we are very proud to reveal our stars have been upgraded to 'Gold Star Award' status which, according to the AA website, 'are awarded to the very best of Guest Accommodation'. The Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS) is the national sustainable tourism certification scheme for the UK. The Wharf House is the trading subsidiary of The Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal Trust and the location of the Trust's visitor centre and shop. All profits from The Wharf House go to the Trust, providing an on-going income stream for Canal restoration.
