At The Tutoring Room Littleover, Derby we believe that all children deserve a chance to reach their full potential. We offer private, individualized teaching/tutoring which will help each child gain confidence in core subjects and attain what they are truly capable of. At our tutoring centre in Littleover, Derby, we focus on the key skills in Maths and English from the ages of 5 to 16 years. Our centre is staffed by fully qualified and experienced teachers who are CRB checked and are currently working in local private and state schools. There are a variety of reasons why parents approach us. Some are concerned that their child lacks confidence and is therefore falling behind; others seek help to prepare for SATs, GCSEs or 11+ examinations. We have built up firm links with local schools and always aim to work in partnership with them. After an initial free assessment in Maths or English, children are placed with specialist teachers who are able to quickly identify and cater for their individual needs. How Our Tutoring Sessions Work At The Tutoring Room in Littleover, Derby, children work on an individually planned lesson within a room of no more than five other children. This promotes a stimulating learning environment and helps to encourage independent learning and also confidence building.
