English: Over the past few years, so many people had to flee their countries across the Middle East ravaged by war and terror. Many of them are stranded in Greece, living often in appalling conditions or on the streets. I am talking about those who didn’t have the luck to end up in a camp managed by the Red Cross, Medecins Sans Frontiere, UN or the Greek Military. There are at this moment tens of thousands of families living in empty school buildings, former factories, and other derelict places. These people need help with all of the basic essentials we take for granted in our everyday life. Hygiene, clothes, shoes, toiletries, food, clean drinking water and toys – the list goes on. Many of the refugees in these camps are the most vulnerable members of society: children, old people, and people with disabilities. We have been in Greece several times in the past months to provide direct help. We have set up a donation account to collect funds to enable the volunteers to help the most needy in Greece. We have been doing this with our own money several times and we were able to have a direct and immediate impact. With your help we will be able to do more. We will, of course, report in detail about what we will be doing with your donations. Any help is welcome, from clothes donations to translations or logistics.
