Ogólne informacje
Created in 2006 by two friends who have both been passionate about photography since childhood, the YellowKorner concept stems from a very simple equation: increase the number of copies of an art photograph in order to make it accessible to the greatest number of collectors. With the goal of promoting the photographic talents of yesterday, today, and tomorrow, YellowKorner thus offers a space for expression to talents stemming from the various photography movements, while preserving high artistic standards. Promising contemporary artists rub shoulders with big names in photography (Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Dorothea Lange, Man Ray, Jean Dieuzaide, Bert Stern) or period photographers (such as the Japanese pioneer Kimbei, or Léon Gimpel). These exclusive prints are of high quality, produced by a renowned professional laboratory, under the artist’s supervision. They are numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity. The YellowKorner gallery aims to be much more than a venue for exhibition and sale, striving to represent a genuine site of encounters and exchanges between the public and the artists: in short, a cultural venue. Events and exhibition openings are therefore regularly held, bringing photographers and celebrities into the galleries in a spirit of informal exchange. YellowKorner also offers classes, so that the public can discover art photography.
