The Tsolakides family has occupied the site since February 1967 firstly as the "Parthenon Cafe" and then , in 1982 , converted it to "Charlies Kebab House" "Charlies " quickly gained a fantastic reputation for the quality of its home-made kebabs , and this was supplemented in 1989 with the addition of fish and chips , re-fitting the premises into its current guise of "Sophies Choice ".
