Since 1879, Rugeley Rifle Club has promoted the Olympic sport of Target Rifle. In addition to the classic Prone and Three-Position rifle disciplines, the club now offers most Olympic rifle and pistol disciplines including 10-Metre Air Rifle, Air Pistol, Long-Arm Pistol as well as Lightweight Sport Rifle - a relatively new (non-Olympic) discipline with a strong UK following. With it's own range, Rugeley offers members a full fourteen indoor 25-yard points, as well as outdoor ranges to 50-metres and 100-yards, and a dedicated indoor 10-metre air range.
