In a summary: Hope In A New Age is our name; HIANA, our acronym; 'youth-empowerment', our mantra and empowering young people to actualize their innate potential is our goal. HIANA is a registered Charity situated in the heart of Birmingham, it was founded by the Reverend David Bruno and by the grace of God and through the tireless effort of disinterested, caring individuals, it has been going from strength to strength for three years now. Many people do not realize that HIANA is a charitable organization which is annexed to a Church, namely Beauty Behind Gospel (BBG), a Birmingham based fellowship which contains a strong presence of young people. It was through BBG that the vision of HIANA gestated. We like to identify BBG as our heart from which our desire to serve and empower young people has burgeoned. We like to think of HIANA as our hands through which we can actualize these desires and bring them to palpable fruition. In the words of our founder: "The future beauty of a community lies in the present strength of its youth". And it is with this sentiment fixed within our hearts that we exert labor for our younger generation to secure the beauty of our present and future communities.
