The Council is democratic organisation run by elected Councillors voted in by the people. We are currently a Labour led Council. The make up of the Council is: 28 Labour 10 Liberal Democrat 5 Conservative 1 UKIP 1 Independent Burnley Council encourages discussion and information sharing that helps make Burnley a better place and improves the town for all residents.
