Bankhouse Barkers is a small local dog training club, run by instructors who are just crazy about dogs! We run classes at a livery yard in New Farnley where we have the use of a small equestrian barn with an adjoining training room and in the summer we have the use of a grassed training paddock. We specialise in Dog Agility Training and Foundation Agility Skills Training, But we also run Puppy Training Classes , Pet Dog Life Skills Course, Trick Training Courses and Scent-Work Courses. We welcome all breeds of dogs and all types of handlers, whether you're new to dog training or if you're new to dog ownership you'll be made very welcome. Training your dog is a fantastic way to forge a great bond with him as well as great exercise both mentally and physically for both you and him. If you want to be part of a club who's trainers are passionate about dogs, who are experienced and have up to date knowledge of modern science based, reward training methods then you've come to the right place. Our classes are small and they'll always be a ratio of at least 1 instructor or assistant to every 4 dogs /handlers. Our ethos is that training should be rewarding and for your dog, it should all be just a game!
