A New Experience In The FINEST Bangladeshi & Indian Cuisine. With a pedigree stretching back over 25 years, Golden Bengal Tandoori Restaurant & Takeaway is housed in a historic and listed building in Horsforth village, run by the same family for over 25 years and was one of the first Indian restaurants to open in the area. We are unlicensed, but you are welcome to Bring Your Own alcohol with NO CORKAGE OR SERVICE CHARGE. Our menu offers all the classic Indian dishes you would expect but has plenty to tempt the more adventurous palate including a choice of EXQUISITE SIGNATURE DISHES & EXCITING CHEF'S SPECIALS that you are unlikely to find elsewhere. Fish also features prominently in Bengali cuisine and dishes like Choudrani Jhool (Spiced trout cooked in a clay oven topped with fried peppers, fresh garlic, ginger and coriander and served with pilau rice) really showcase the variety that is on offer. There are set meals for two and four people along with a SIZZLING FIVE-COURSE MEAL DEAL which consists of poppadums' & pickle tray, any starter from menu, any main course from menu, any sundries from menu and tea/coffee or ice-cream for just £10.95 per adult, £5.95 per child under the age of 12 available every Wednesday & Sunday, 6pm - 10pm. 15% DISCOUNT for students & NHS staff (dining in only & on production a of valid ID card) every Thursday, 6pm - 10pm.
