Incorporated in 1994 and originally branded as Limpia Waste Management, a small team of enthusiasts and experts set about delivering advanced and improved waste management solutions for all manner of hazardous, difficult and clean-up services. Originally located in the North-East of England – the historic heartland of the UK’s chemical industry – demand for our services soon extended throughout the country. With our name changed to Acumen Waste Services, by 1996 we had opened depots in West Yorkshire and the West Midlands. Further operational centres and specialist services followed and Acumen can now deliver its advanced waste management services efficiently throughout the UK.
