Marston Grange is a 400 acre arable farm on Marston Moor which dates back to 1769 and the time of the local Enclosures Act. The farm was built on the ditch line which marked the dividing line between the Royalist and Parliamentarian armies over 100 years earlier in 1644 at the Battle of Marston Moor. Today the site is a scene of peace and tranquillity with views over the battlefield stretching over to the White Horse and Sutton Bank on one side and York Minster on another. The Marston Grange Events Barn offers the opportunity to experience all that the site has to offer across a range of educational interests and activities including: History and the battle of Marston Moor Gardening and horticulture Farming and the environment Country crafts, art and literature
