Islam Halifax was established in February 2012 in the town of Halifax. The purpose of Islam Halifax is to teach Muslims and non-Muslims the true meaning of Islam devoid of any cultural ideologies, sectarianism or extremism. Islam Halifax gives an opportunity for Muslims living in Halifax to connect with their faith and explore what it means to be a Muslim living in the 21st century. Islam Halifax is also an officially registered non-profit organisation. Our Vision: To see a united community working together for the betterment of the society through fairness and justice
