The Trinational MA in European Studies (Europa Master) offers an attractive, future-oriented alternative to conventional MA programmes in political science. Designed for graduates with a first degree in political science, law, social sciences or related disciplines, it leads to an advanced career-oriented degree while offering participants the opportunity to study in an international environment. The Europa Master programme not only aims at broadening the participants' general (theoretical as well as empirical) socio-scientific knowledge, but it focuses particularly on the political and social challenges and opportunities inherent in the processes of Europeanisation and European integration. The programme has an extensive foreign-language component and aims at improving intercultural skills. The study programme jointly conceived and offered by the Universities of Opole, Mainz, and Dijon, gives participants the chance to spend at least one of the two years abroad, in two different European countries. Courses are held in English (Opole, Mainz) and French (Dijon). Participants can choose to write their Master's thesis in either (Polish, German, French) language, depending on the chosen university and language proficiency of supervisors.
