Open Cages

Open Cages is a farm animals protection organization, founded in 2012 in Poland. It started as a small group of motivated activists but now there are twelve local groups in the whole country and hundreds of members and volunteers involved. There are more and more positive changes for animals in the nations of Western Europe. However, we can't forget that in the interim, factory farming is moving to the East. Animal cruelty knows no borders thus we need to work more internationally. For these reasons, we decided that Open Cages also needs to become an international organization, that will bring the horrors of factory farming in the east of Europe to light.
