‘The Scrib (Crab Apple) Tree’ was at one time the chief hostelry in Douglas. Famed for quality food and fine hospitality, it stood two stories high overlooking the Douglas Water. From Summer 2012 those same key ingredients of quality food and fine hospitality will be offered by the new ‘Scrib Tree’ - an emporium selling quality local produce, fine coffee, perfect cakes and beautiful gifts.
