The Broadway

The Broadway is a multi-faceted venue consisting of a 1,140 seater auditorium, and a 5,000sq ft self-contained function room called The Broadway Suite, with its own roof garden. Our ground floor foyer is home to our Box Office, which is open daily from 9am to 5pm for phone bookings (01733 306071) and visiting in person (later on Main Auditorium performance days). It can also be used as an additional event space. We also have a 2,500sq ft bar on the first floor named Walter's Bar and Eatery, in honour of local legend Walter Cornelius. Subtle live music is provided every day in this bar from 12 noon to 3.00pm. So, why not take your meetings, or relax with friends, to the playing by our resident pianist, jazz guitarist, harpist or string quartet? Walter's is open every day from 9.00am to 6.30pm. The Broadway caters for all manner of events, from wedding receptions to international events and shows. Live music, comedy, theatre productions, lectures, corporate events, gala dinners, cinema, themed events and exhibitions can all take place at The Broadway.
