Hersham Sports and Social Club (HSS Club) formerly Hersham Comrades is a C.I.U. Affiliated social club. We are a popular long established club since 1921 with a strong family membership. We always welcome new members and their families and put on regular entertainment to suit all tastes, from live music, disco's and dance classes. We have bingo night every Wednesday evening in the main hall and Texas Holdem Poker every first Friday in the month in the members lounge upstairs. We also have various sports teams including Football, Darts and Pool. HSS Club has a membership of approximately 400, applications for new membership are welcome. The club premises are housed in a well-maintained building, with a car park to the front. There is a substantial well fitted clubroom with two well stocked bars and happy staff, a large dance-floor and stage area with a separate members lounge with wide screen tv, pool table and darts, snooker hall and poker tables upstairs. A childs activity area with gaming machines, BBQ and a comfortable sheltered smoking area. Disabled toilet facilities are also available. New to the club we can now offer cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate etc. Crisps, nuts and nibbles can also be purchased from behind the bar.
