Dora Larsen was created and designed by Georgia Larsen, a fashion obsessed hippy-at-heart living in London. With the upbringing of a Danish design-led family, and a surrealist artist father, Georgia’s fascination with colour and aesthetics was developed. Having spent her early twenties as a fashion blogger, Georgia was introduced to the world of lingerie as an underwear buyer. After a number of years absorbed in a career developing beautiful underpinnings, Georgia decided to set out on her own. Dora Larsen aims to find a happy place between sexy and modern. In a lingerie world saturated in black lace bras, Dora Larsen wants to stand out as the more eclectic sibling. Whilst Dora Larsen wants to take risks within the lingerie market, the brand recognises the need for flattering shapes that suit all sizes, as well as being comfortable to wear. Through Georgia’s previous career trying on an array of bra’s for a living, she realised there was a gap in the market for something that was practical yet pioneering.
