Cafe Jerusalem ( Coffee, Museum, Gallery). Cafe Jerusalem a coffee shop, museum and gallery, where the opening ceremony with participation of local authorities and delegations from Israel is scheduled for 5th September. After more than 70 years, sign in Hebrew will appear on Modrzejewska street in Będzin. Cafe Jerusalem is the place where you can drink coffee, eat a good Kosher food, see a lot of archival documents and objects from pre-war Jewish Bedzin. Once a month, there will be organized meeting with klezmer music and for the young residents of Bedzin will be conducted lessons of Jewish history. Project director Adam Szydłowski working on history of Jews in Zaglebie for over 15 years, organizer of historical reconstructions, the discoverer of the House of Prayer Cukerman’s and the House of Prayer Mizrachi. Adam Szydłowski is the publisher of the diary Rutka Laskier.
