The Great Barn Devon

The Great Barn is a 15th Century barn (with its impressive 45 foot high ceilings, it also known as the “thatched Cathedral” ) located about 8 miles to the SW of Exeter on the edge of Dartmoor. It is a beautiful, tailor-made wedding venue, set in the grounds of a private estate, offering Wedding Parties exclusive access from Friday-Sunday for weekend weddings, and Tuesday afternoon to Thursday morning for mid-week weddings. The Great Barn Devon is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, and weddings and wedding receptions take place year round. It has a capacity of 250 (plus 70 in the adjoining round house) when standing; a capacity of 168 sitting at round tables, and 198 at long tables. Wedding guests have access to The Great Barn Devon itself; the adjoining roundhouse (also ideal for a bar); use of a professionally fitted kitchen; mature walled gardens; and use of a couple of stunning cottages if required.
