The Ruby Chinese Restaurant, located in Lichfield, was founded more than 25 years ago by Noreena and Tommy Ho. Both come from very humble backgrounds; Noreena was born and bred in Birmingham and Tommy moved to England with his parents at the age of 11. Both of Tommy’s parents worked as chefs in local Chinese restaurants. After completing his Masters degree at University, Norreena and Tommy’s youngest son Wai-Lee has entered into the family business. He hopes to integrate what he has learnt at University with his parents’ long term experience in the catering and hospitality industry.
